Our Vision

Our vision is to work together with our families and community to:

 

  • Create a solid foundation that children can build upon.

  • Equipping students with the necessary tool and many opportunities to succeed every day.

  • Encourage leadership, independence, and the development of lifelong skills.

Health & Safety

Admittance will be refused to any child that is ill. No child will be accepted with a temperature that exceeds 100 degrees, recurring vomiting or diarrhea, runny nose or crusty eyes, unexplained rash, cough, shortness of breath, and allergy-like symptoms. BOL has a 48-hr. return policy with a written doctor’s note stating that the child is not a threat to the other children or the staff. The child must be clear of any symptoms and fever free before returning.

 

 

Children should be excluded from the school setting for the reasons outlined below.

  • Note: The following list covers the most common illnesses but is not inclusive of all reasons for exclusion. A condition that prevents the child from participating comfortably in program activities

  • Illness that results in a greater need for care than faculty can provide without compromising the health and safety of other children

  • Fever (100º axillary [armpit], 101º orally, 102º aural [ear]) accompanied by other symptoms such as lethargy, irritability, constant crying, difficulty breathing, diarrhea, vomiting

  • Exposed to anyone diagnosed with Covid 19

Any child with a fever of 101º will be excluded and should receive medical attention as soon as possible.
